Man when I found out the ScHoolboy Q track that was supposed to come out yesterday was a freestyle I got kind of let down but after hearing it I learned to not judge a song by it's tweet. Q is kicking off his #THeGroovyTour on April 20. Tour dates - well actually a picture of the tour dates after the jump, I'm feeling lazy today.

Seeing Childish Gambino perform this past Saturday was a dream come true. He just recently started gaining wide popularity and has a lot more on the way. I was actually surprised at the crowd. A lot of young folks, a few people in their mid 20's were mixed in. The fans were devout. They knew every word, finished every sentence. Right now I'd only expect die hard fans to show up to a Gambino concert. He's in that stage where he's not immensely huge, but has a large and very dedicated following. They definitely showed up at Orlando, the intimate venue was sold out.
As far as the show goes, the dude knows how to get a crowd hyped. Best way to describe him on stage is to imagine him in his "Freaks and Geeks" video for about an hour and a half straight, no breaks. Also his eyes get really big. He gets in a zone when he performs, it seemed like nothing could've broken his concentration.
I'm still in my "can't believe I got to see Donald Glover live" phase. I'm happy I got to see him perform before mainstream success. I believe in living in the moment instead of trying to capture it, but I wanted to get his freestyle on footage. Sorry about the video proportions, I really wasn't expecting the audio to turn out like it did otherwise I would've held the iPhone horizontal. Next time I'll take the opportunity more seriously.
