Jay-Z - Glory (featuring B.I.C.)

Yesterday was a pretty crazy day in the music world:

1. Common dissed Drake pretty blatantly on his remix of "Stay Schemin".

2. The Shins released a new song.

3. Mike Posner released some bad ass visuals for his single "Looks Like Sex"

4. Lupe Fiasco and Pharrell announced that they were going to be releasing an album soon.

5. Coachella's line up this year is going to be ridiculous.

But I think Jay-Z releasing a track for his new born daughter Blue Ivy Carter took the cake.

Any Given Saturday #6

Gang Gang. What's going on TQF once again it's bout' that time. Any...Given...Saturday. Woo! Check it check it, it's been kind of a chill for all of us I guess. A lot of people were on break for turkey day and what not so everyone is still recovering from Thanksgiving and Black Friday. I went Black Friday shopping for the first time earlier.... that stuff is crazy. What are you going to do though? People love da discounts! Enough of this talk... lets get into these songs.

1) Yeah Buddy! Some Maroon 5."Sunday Morning" was on Maroon 5's first album Songs About Jane. "Sunday Morning" is a song I've been listening to all this week, because I've been just chillin' lately. I'm not going to lie the first time I heard this song is when Andrew Garcia performed it on American Idol. He did do the song justice though. Maroon 5 is one of the ways to go when you're just chillin'.

2) "Otis" by Jay-Z and Kanye West is a great song off of their album Watch the Throne. When the song came out I didn't really see all the hype, but then again that happens to me a lot. Whenever a song usually comes out I don't really get the feel that everyone gets until after a couple of weeks. I started liking "Otis" in August but never posted it, because the idea didn't come up to me until recently. Anyways I don't think I'll ever get sick of this song, because Jay-Z and Kanye are constantly going in on the track and it never gets boring.

3) This right here to me is an amazing song. "Sweet Disposition" by Australian indie rock band The Temper Trap is a song off of their debut album Conditions from 2009. The vocals of the song are so relaxing, and after the first time I found the song and put it straight on my iPod. I heard this song in the movie 500 Days of Summer. The whole soundtrack to the movie was good but this song really stood out to me during the whole movie, and the song fit perfectly. Also watch the movie if you can, it's one of the best movies I've seen... I'm going to watch it after this post.

Well you guys another week down. Thanks for reading, as usual I appreciate it. Like us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter. I hope you guys enjoyed your Thanksgiving, be thankful for everything that you got. Tell your friends and family how much you love them, because it's the littlest things in life that have the biggest impact on people. TQF. "Kill That Noise". Gang.... Gang.

Remix: N*ggas In Paris (featuring T.I.)

A lot of hype was built up for T.I.'s verse for this one on my Twitter. I'm not going to say he didn't go in but I think it was alright. Watch The Throne was one of 2011's largest Hip-Hop successes and so far is just 50,000 copies shy of going platinum.

Do you think this was cray?

New: Drake - Make Me Proud (featuring Nicki Minaj)

New Drake single paying respect to all the independent girls out there, featuring Nicki Minaj off of Take Care.

Production by T-Minus, the same man who brought us "Moment 4 Life". For those who haven't heard yet, Take Care has been pushed back to November 15. Long story short there were 3 tracks which wouldn't have gotten clearance by October 24, so Drake decided that it was better to release the album the way it was meant to be heard rather than release it for a deadline. You can read his explanation here.

Prior to releasing the single Drake answered a lot of questions during an interview with Funkmaster Flex today. The topics ranged from Pusha-T's "Dreams Money Can Buy" freestyle, Lil Wayne's Jay-Z diss, and even rumours of him and Serena Williams.

"Make Me Proud" will be on iTunes this Saturday.

J. Cole - Mr. Nice Watch (featuring Jay-Z)

I'm pretty late on this one but that's partly because I didn't like the track on the first listen. Definitely heard it in a whole different light driving home from work tonight though. Make sure you listen to this on a proper set of speakers. Production by J. Cole himself. Love the hook.

Cole World: The Sideline Story is still a go for September 27.

Remix: Chuckie: Paris Satisfaction (Jay-Z & Kanye West x Benny Benassi)

Maybe the best Watch The Throne remix I've heard yet. Done by Dutch House artist Chuckie. Flipped the next WTT single over Benny Benassi's Satisfaction. Love the repetition and energy. This shit cray.
