As with any Left Boy release, I am very excited. I can't wait to hear what his album has in store.

Maybe I'm just a hater but I cringed when I found out Left Boy's latest track used this sample. This is despite the fact that I find the her song pretty catchy, but nothing that I could ever see myself sharing on here, and then Left Boy dropped this. Bastard.
Video Games is still my jam. I hope he blows up this year, 2012 is still young.

It turns out that the post I was most cautious about ended up being one of the most popular hits on the site to date. Looks like Left Boy is taking advantage of the spotlight and let another track go to celebrate hitting 15,000 Facebook fans. I don't know what VIE stands for but I'm enjoying its sound.
This post has me on the edge of desperation. I shouldn't be doing this for so many reasons. What's a Left Boy? What the hell do I categorize this as? Rap? Hip-Hop/Obnoxious? Punch lines are borderline Lil Wayne - post Rikers Island. The hook (in "Outro") is beyond my normal tolerance for the classic American offender in a song. My mental image of how he must look was along the lines of this. He's definitely a character.
But it's the simplicity of his music that makes him so genius. Underneath the jaguar print kicks and hipster tank topped with the guido sunglasses is a vision that's been mastered to perfection and is soon going to take over the online music scene. Listening to his other songs I was relieved to hear that he's just as capable of making songs with meaning and flaunt that lyrical skill as well as he's able to stick it to the haters and scream: "F*** YAAA'LLL"
