I know I'm a day or two late but here's a final mix of a song recorded back in 2008 which has had a lot of demand for a proper release from fans. Up until today the only way you could hear this song was in some form of Kid Cudi's live performances. I love how he alludes to the "moon theme" at the end of the song and references to changing the game. Who would've ever thought that would come true?

WZRD disappointed many fans when they announced their album was being pushed back from January 31 to February 28. To make up for it Kid Cudi and Dot Da Genius released "Teleport 2 Me, Jamie" and "Brake" on iTunes. So finally, after months of waiting, my favorite song by WZRD thus far is officially out in its complete form. The song was renamed in dedication to the mother of Kid Cudi's daughter; stream below:
Last month Kid Cudi let a snippet of "Teleport 2 Me" out from WZRD's debut album. The album is slated to come out on January 30; I'm crossing my fingers and hoping it doesn't get pushed back. The band finally debuted the full version at the Heatwave Festival. I usually don't like posting videos like these but I'm absolutely in love with this song and it's gotten me pretty excited for the whole project.
Now that's more like it Cudi! Here's a snippet of the first single from WZRD's upcoming album. The album still has no name but Cudi did announce that the only guest appearance on the album will be by Empire of The Sun. "Teleport 2 Me" is nothing like the previous, much more obscure stuff that we've been hearing out of WZRD. It should be a successful single and might just be the song that'll make you believe.
Kid Cudi's break from rapping (and weed) has had a lot of people biting their nails. When he announced he was going to be forming a rock group with Dot da Genius I wasn't exactly worry free either. Originally named 2 Be Continuum, Cudi officially stated that the name has been finalized to WZRD and that their untitiled debut album will be dropping on January 30, 2012.
Note the Hip Hop influenced drum beat. Although this is the first official release from WZRD we all got a sample of the sound he was aiming for from what he released back in May. I still don't think I know how I feel about this new "draining" sound that he's been producing lately but we'll see. He did promise that this will change the world of music forever so I won't close my book yet. So far it's been getting pretty mixed feelings. I'm still waiting for that song that will make me believe.
While I'm posting I just want to give a quick shout out to everyone. The Quiet Floor is growing everyday, exceeding any expectations that I had. 2,000 referrals this past week alone.
