The Weeknd recently gives fans an early Christmas present by releasing this awesome track entitled Earned it which is intended to be the next hit on the "50 Shades of Grey" soundtrack which is set to hit theaters on February 13th, 2015.
MMG and G.O.O.D. Music Collaboration?!
Two worlds come together for this amazing track including some of the best artist in the industry: Wale and Pusha T. The rhyme schemes really show the talent these two greats have and shows a surprising amount of ease in the collaboration, despite hostility in the past or present.
This great piece of work was released and debuted most recently on Festivus produced by A-Trak and Wale.
ODESZA teamed up with Thissongissick.com to open it up to many new perspectives of the same “Say My Name” track from In Return, and the remix contest has brought many new and old artists alike out of the dark. Check out the RAC Mix below, or go here to hear many other renditions of this same great track!
Skizzy Mars from New York kills it again with a great cover of Baby Boy Da Prince's hit track back from 2007 titled Way I Live. If you haven't heard Skizzy check out his last release entitled For You, a remix of Lais's track that I have also listed below.
Hoodie Allen released the music video for his newest track, Dumb For You yesterday. This poppy track has a great lyric base as always, but is much more sing-songy then many of his previous hits. Check out and pre-order his new record due to release October 14th entitled People Keep Talking.
Three days ago one of my personal favorites, Alt-J, returns with another amazing single from their new record that is said to release on September 22nd entitled This Is All Yours. This song really captures their one-of-a-kind sound and embraces the weird so to speak. I really enjoy the uplifting mood it sets, which is a bit different then there past more dramatic music expeditions. Check it Out!
Another artist I have been following for some time now who have really put work into finding their sound is Bastille. This is a song that others have defined as "Dark R&B" it perfectly incorporates their dark electronic sounds with some amazing lyricism.
This remix is a great stab at making a great song even better, however, much is up for discussion about that. I believe it is a catchy tune, but no comparison to the original. Check out First Light (Backstroke Remix) and if you haven't had the pleasure of listening to the original by Racing Glaciers than check it out below as well!
His new mix mix of the original "Mama Told Me." Great lyrical ability with an amazing beat that keeps you bumpin.
This hilarious track was labeled after many of the lyrics of the song in which Wiz compares himself to 007, Bruce Lee, and Tiger Woods. Check it out!
