"Hollywood" was easily one of the best collabs to happen this spring. We're in summer now but it still sounds as sweet and catchy as it did during its first listen. You can grab a download of the track here.
The video tells the story of an 1850's cowboy and his horse as they experience and explore modern day LA. The cowboy, completely out of his element, longs for something familiar and he might just find it in the end.
RAC has had their share of coverage on TQF, but never like this. Usually one of their respective members grabs a track they like and remix it. This time the founder of RAC (André Allen Anjos) enlisted Penguin Prison to supply a million dollar hook over original production that's just as melodic and catchy as it has been in the past. This track is very impressive for a first go at making something from scratch.
I hope there's more to come.
If you have a thing for polygamy, a fetish for Elvis, and like to see cats spew blood out of their mouths then you might be able to come up with a few conversation starters on a first date with Alex Winston. If not then your only other bet might be to able to come up with a mean remix of an already amazing song. RAC gives the song just the right amount of funk without taking away from the energy of the original.

RAC is one of my favorite remix artist. On March 4th they released RAC Vol 2. Although I haven't listened to it yet I trust them enough to just post it. They never fail me. Listen to two of my favorite tracks by them to get a taste, the first one is from the posted album:
